Fried food is such a huge part of the State Fair of Texas, but here is another reason to attend. DFW Rescue Me has a special place in our hearts as we adopted a dog from this organization. They will be doing "Bark at Fair Park" again this year so after you enjoy your Fried Bubblegum, stop by their booth and see what adorable dogs you can adopt. http://www.dfwrescueme.org/

Medical care, shelter, food, and a soft place to fall. Important for all of us. Especially important for the dog that has never had those basic necessities.
