🚨 2 Chicken fried steaks crack the top 5-
On a recent trip to San Antonio we decided to travel the “back way” from Clifton. On the way up we stopped in Johnson City at the Hill Country Cupboard.. this was pure luck stopping there. We searched cafe near me.. this was the closest to us.
Hill Country Cupboard had the best Chicken Fried Steak I had eaten in a long while. It definitely cracked the top 5.
On our way back a couple of days later we were determined to hit the Blue Bonnet Cafe in Marble Falls. We had to see if the pies lived up to the hype. Little did we know we would score the a second Great Chicken Fried Steak. Forget the hype of the pies.. yeah they’re great!!! You know that if you ever tried one. The Chicken Fried Steak was near perfect.
Both places had a great ratio of meat to crust. Do yourself a favor and eat at both places.. you’ll be glad you did.
*PS - order the strawberry lemonade at Hill Country Cupboard.. BEST I EVER HAD.. I know the secret, that made it SO GOOD!
