Did you know Joppy Mama’s Farms is about so much more than vegetables?

Our farm was inspired by the love and legacy of Joppy Mama, a woman who spent years caring for the Joppy community with generosity, strength, and heart. She believed in showing up for people, sharing what you had, and nourishing your neighbors in every way possible.

Today, her granddaughter carries that spirit into every seed planted, every row tended, and every piece of produce picked. At Joppy Mama’s Farms, every harvest is a reminder that food can do more than fill a plate—it can honor family, strengthen community, and keep a meaningful legacy growing.

From our hands to your table, this is Joppy Mama’s love in every harvest. 🌱💚

Out at the farm this week, we had the privilege of hosting an incredible group alongside our Founder sharing space, stories, and a vision that’s only just beginning to unfold. Moments like these remind us that growth isn’t just happening in the soil… it’s happening in community.

Stay close. Something special is taking root here in Texas.

Not all growth happens where people can easily see it.

Sometimes, it starts in the soil through intention, care, and a commitment to doing things differently.

We’re highlighting Mars Hill Farm, a farm quietly transforming how fresh food, education, and sustainability show up in the community.

Swipe to see how their work is creating impact from the ground up.

If you value the kind of work that nurtures both people and place, take a moment to follow and stay connected to what they’re building.

Not all support has to come from your wallet.

Sometimes, it looks like showing up, lending a hand, and being part of the work happening on the ground.

At Joppy Momma’s Farm, our volunteers are a big part of how we continue to grow, helping us expand access to fresh food and deepen our impact in the community.

If you’ve been looking for a way to give back, this is one way to do it freely, meaningfully, and alongside others who care.

Visit our website at www.joppymommas .org to volunteer.

And if you’re not able to join us right now, you can still support by sharing this with someone who would love to get involved.

We’re always welcoming new hands and new hearts on the farm.

There’s something special about spaces that bring people together through food.

We’re highlighting Restaurant Beatrice, where culture, flavor, and community come together in meaningful ways.

From the inspiration behind their dishes to the experience they create, it’s all rooted in something deeper.

Swipe to see how they’re nourishing more than just appetite.

And if you love discovering places that care about community the way we do, be sure to follow along with and show them some love.

We truly had so much fun learning the art of sourdough!

🥖 So many attendees asked for another class, and we can definitely see why.
A special thank you to for hosting such a thoughtful, unique, and hands-on experience for our community. 💛

If you’d like to support what we’re building at Joppy Momma’s Farm, your donations help us continue providing fresh food access, educational workshops, and community resources for all. Visit joppymommas .org to show your support today.

🌱 Every seed planted is a promise kept.

At Joppy Momma's Farm, we're not just growing food, we're growing futures. We're nourishing families, strengthening our community, and proving that abundance starts with a single act of care.

No donation is too small. A few dollars plant seeds. More feeds a family. Together, we build something lasting.
