Hey there! What a night y’all! Again, one for the books.
I can’t describe the joy I experienced this evening greeting you all and serving you some of my absolute favorite treats.
I’ve been preparing for this my entire life and as the song says, “if this is wrong, I don’t want to be right.”
Things have been set in motion this summer that have pushed me and changed me in marvelous and, dare I say, miraculous ways.
I invite you all to go with me. I have stories to tell around food and I’m finally ready to tell them and share the moments of bliss but serving up the tastiest Americana influenced treats on the planet. How do we celebrate the beautiful diversity of America? How do we invite people of all different cultures, races, religions and beliefs to come together and find common ground? I think I’ve found one good way.
So has one of my many best friends, because one best friend just isn’t enough.
Thanks to Nicole for embarking on this journey and inviting me to go with her. CommUNITY, is an amazing and powerful thing when we stop working against each other and start listening.
This is how we change the world.
