If you are ever around me long enough you will hear me mention my friend Janet. Janet started as a counselor who helped me walk through some of the hardest moments of my life. Without her encouragement there would be no Highline. When she passed suddenly I did not think I would ever stop grieving. But losing her made me want to not stay in my sadness. To celebrate the smallest of moments. To constantly remind myself that life can be so incredibly hard and thick and heavy but at any moment it can change. And it will change. You just have to hold on till then. Janet is the reason I throw myself a birthday party. To feel grateful for all that I’ve been given. Who I am. And who I have with me. It’s my birthday week bread fam!!! Let’s party!!! Watch for some special treats this week coming to the bread table. Out of pure gratitude..for Janet. For this life. For you!!! 💛☀️🛵
