When I tried for the first time in Frederick, they definitely 8 that! Now they’ve invited me back and are hosting me to try some different items from their menu! Their new Germantown location needs more love; great food, great price, great people!

My school recently got recognized by Alliance for a Healthier Generation as being one of America’s Healthiest Schools. We got selected to try a brand new, sustainable menu item coming to the MCPS menu! Sourcing catfish from the nearby Chesapeake Bay it’s local, sustainable and surprisingly tasty! Superintendent Thomas W. Taylor came by to support the initiative, so we had to do a quick review!

Recapping everything I ate at Bethesda Urban Partnership Taste of Bethesda 2026! There were so many great restaurants offering so many great small bites, it’s always a good time!

Some of my favorites were:

- Smoke BBQ Bethesda’s smoked wings. Normally not a bbq sauce guy, but this balanced sweet and tangy and the smoke flavor was evident in the chicken! 🍗

- Pisco y Nazca’s Causa de Pollo. Chicken salad was light yet well seasoned, potatoes provided body, and the creaminess from the avocado rounded it out. A fun bite everytime!

- JUST ICE TEA - Lemon Ice Tea. Been looking for a new favorite tea, this might be it. Not only local, but delicate sweetness allowing the other flavors to shine. Drank 2 of these on the day!

We got a special invite from Chef Eric Adjepong 🇬🇭|🇺🇸 and his team at Elmina Restaurant, DC to come try their brand new tasting menu. How could I say no?! Here’s everything I tried, let me know what you think looks the best! Shoutout to Wale Smith and the rest of the team for such a killer meal! 🇬🇭
