This evening I sat along the river today watching my kids playing & I got to thinking , God .. 6 years ago I prayed one day I’d be able to Stay at home more with my kids, open up a Home Bakery in our small little community and hang up my career in Healthcare for a bit , not because I never loved my job- but because spending more time with my kids meant the world to me!

Having my daughter changed my entire perspective on life ! And now here we are, spending most of our Summer days like it’s the 90s ! Now, most days are complete chaos , I am outnumbered , I am trying to balance life running a Bakery Shed ( a dream I never imagined would come true ) and soaking in another beautiful Summer with my kids that seems to always fly by way too fast! I can’t tell you how exactly we got here but I will say lots of praying , tears , grit & grace! So very Thankful , for my faith to follow Gods timing & for my hard working Husband who misses out on a lot of these days in the Summer, so I get to enjoy these special, ever so fleeting moments with our kids! Today My little helpers & spent the morning at the BEST Strawberry Farm, picking the sweetest berries to incorporate into our delicious baked goods this wknd !

You will find them in our Strawberry & Cream Scones & Choc Strawberry Sweet Buns & Strawberry Lemonade Concentrate ! 🍓

Hi Sweet Friends,

Our menu for Father’s Day wknd is up!

We will be OPEN : Saturday & Sunday from
9am- dark or sold out !

There is a possibility I may be able to open this Friday, it just depends how much prep I can get finished the next two days ! I’ll give a definite answer tomorrow !

Hey Friends,

So I opened the Bake Shed again late this morning.

I have 8 bouquets of flowers remaining from Willowbrook Floral & Farm!

They are marked down for $10, come and grab one or even take one and just pay what you are able , otherwise I’m going to hand them to some people in the community this week!

The real MVP is the little lady behind the lens, my daughter Nora!

She helps me set up the Shed every wknd in the morning & also assists with keeping her little terror of a little brother occupied during the week so Mama can do all of her Baking Prep.

I didn’t notice she took an entire introduction video of the shed until tonight when I was looking through my photos bc I was too busy unpacking and organizing everything , she really blows me away with her talent !

Quite honestly I don’t think I’d have the guts to start my own business if it wasn’t for her!

I love building a business right along side my kids - it’s the absolute best!

Thank you for a great wknd ! We sold a TON of Baked Goods!

But we still have quite a bit of items available!

I’m going to be open TOMORROW: Monday June 16th- shooting for 730am till sold out !

Next week we will re-stock our Strawberry Lemonade Concentrate Pint Jars & of course all of our treats !
