This is what love looks like 🐴🤎

Our horse Minnie passed away this week. To honor her, Clara braided Minnie’s tail hair and did a ceremonial dance. Dragonflies flew around her in wild swarms. It honestly felt like Minnie was sending a sign that she’s still here with us.

A good work horse lives close to your heart— is family in all the ways that’s count— and we are missing her.

Thank you for your patience as we rescheduled Farm School this week. Classes will resume Oct 7 🐴

🎉NEW CLASS OFFERING🎉
☀️Harvest Makers Craft Club
(Ages 6-14 + Interested Mamas)

•After your morning homeschool lessons and lunch, come out for an Afternoon Occupation — Charlotte Mason style.

If you know the term, you know it’s all about purposeful, skill‑building work that lets kids use their hands, develop capability, and make something useful or beautiful.
If you’re new to it, think of it as:
a guided farm craft + meaningful barn work + reflection/ “narration” time (drawing, painting, writing, collecting, tracing, collaging).

This week: make a raw cotton wick + pour a soy candle. I’ll provide the narration notebooks. We’ll close with a circle to share our creations.

——
🎉ONGOING CLASS:
☀️Mama + Me Preschool (Ages 1-5)
•Wednesdays • 10am-12pm.
Animal interactions • barn “chores” • repeating seasonal activity • free play • story time.

More info on our website, linked in comments.

Please share with your homeschool group! Thanks guys!
