Yesterday was an exciting day for TSEF! We FINALLY set up our portable electric fencing, which we will use to rotationally graze sheep on the property. This will help manage the (thriving) grasses and also put nutrients back into the soil! YAY and big thank you to Anne Lucas Thatcher for this partnership!

This week's torrential rain brought some new mushrooms to the farm! This is a Birch Polypore, which has a multitude of medicinal properties including: antiviral, antibiotic, anti-inflammatory, and antiseptic properties. To learn more, check out the link below. Of course, always use caution when identifying and utilizing mushrooms because many of them look similar! 🍄
