Here at Rocky Brook Ranch we strive to breed and promote quality rare breed chickens in Northern Wisconsin. Most of my time and energy is devoted to my Blue Laced Red Wyandottes and Ameraucanas, however we also have FBCM's, RIR, and the ancient fibromelanistic landrace breed Korean Yeonsan Ogye.

Last chance before I band them THIS WEEKEND! I have 2 bucklings left, one of Poppy’s *B bucklings that I need to take updated pics of and this one that has a pretty dang good chance of being *B by the end of the year! His dam (Honey,) grand dam (Poppy,) and great grand dam (Nina) are ALL 3 milking 7+lbs a day currently on milk test! His full sister milked 4.3lbs on her first milk test as a yearling FF. Super friendly, easy to catch, and ready to go. My candid pics really do not do this guy justice as he is not set up, just natural stance, he is such a nicely put together guy and definitely has presence, he loves to strut his stuff! 🤩 Clean tested herd.

I should have finished shaving Nina 🫣 I love this doe so much, she is the matriarch of my little herd. As a 5yo 5F she is related to pretty much everyone in my herd except Spicy. I think she is looking pretty amazing as a mature doe! Is she perfect? Heck no, but she produces milk like a tiny Holstein (and by tiny I mean under 18” tall) and looks like one too. We love her sweet yet quirky personality around here!

I am SOOO excited I won’t be able to sleep tonight! 😅 We are picking up our new junior herdsire tomorrow, he has an impressive collection of stellar animals behind him on both sides, it almost makes me want to skip summer and head right to fall… ALMOST! A little buildup before the big reveal.

All 3 of these boys are still available! 2 of them are *B (when ADGA gets caught up) and one has *B potential. Dams are currently milking 7+lbs a day on milk test! Can be banded and go as pets as well, all 3 are super friendly and will take a bottle. They are disbudded and have had their first CDT. Clean tested herd. ☺️
