Beyond grateful for the generous donation we received yesterday!! Thank you for the continued support!! β€οΈππ¨βπ
The St. Croix Chippewa Indians of Wisconsin is proud to have provided $150,000.00 in donations to local units of government and emergency service agencies that provide essential services to our reservation communities.
The FY2026 donations support the Cumberland, Turtle Lake, Hertel, Danbury, Siren and Webster Fire Departments, as well as the Burnett County Sheriffβs Department.
These departments, and the dedicated people who serve with them, are there when our communities need them most β responding to fires, emergencies, accidents, medical calls, and so much more. We are so grateful for their partnership and for the countless hours they dedicate to keeping our families and communities safe.
To all of our local first responders:
Miigwech for your service, your time, and your commitment to our communities.
We also encourage community members who are interested to consider getting involved with their local volunteer fire department. The need for volunteers is greater than ever, and these departments rely on community members willing to step up, train, and serve their neighbors.
Strong communities are built by people who are willing to show up for one another.
Chi-Miigwech!
