Update 4/29: I just finished my Bachelor's Degree and I am applying to grad school to hopefully earn a MA or PhD in Archaeology. It's a goal I have been working towards for over a decade around raising my kids and working full time. One of the requirements for the school I am applying to is that I need to complete an archaeological field school as a leveling course before coming into the program. Most field schools run during the summer months and I was accepted into one through the University of Minnesota. So I will be on location down by the twin cities for that on weekdays in June and July.
Unfortunately that means that we will not be able to offer the CSA this summer. Additionally, a few of the grant programs we were approved for previously, have also been cancelled this spring. So our plans to expand and put up a commercial size greenhouse to help with farm production will have to wait at this time.
We do hope to offer the CSA again next year. We are hoping to at least have a roadside stand with a smaller selection or join a local farmers market later in July or August. We want to say thank you to everyone that signed up with us or supported us last year. If you'd like to stay on an email list, I can let you know next year if we are able to start back up again.
If you are looking for another CSA for this summer, I would recommend checking out these two in Frederic:
