So my male peacock escaped a while back. If you've ever tried catching a loose peacock, well. Its hell. I went down to get the tractor and put out a bale of hay. He was in the tractor shed. I called my partner down with the net. Ol peacock was like, ill just climb this stack of hay bales. I did too, even though I know ill hurt for it later. Somehow, by the grace of God, I netted him. I dragged him down, got both legs and a wing, he still flapped me pretty good. I carried him halfway back to the pen. And then it happened. He crapped all over. On my shirt, down both my legs, all over my toes. Of course I was in sandals. Oh my lord it stunk, partner opened the gates for me staying well unwind. If ya know ya know, I grabbed a can and got some water out of the goat trough and washed it off real fast while I stripped my shirt off. Gosh what we do for animals.
