Our 2027 Kidding Schedule is here! Things look a little different this year… and we like it!
✨ We have 2 does milking through this upcoming year since they’re due next week and I’m a firm believer in giving my animals breaks. 😵💫
✨ We will have several does for sale once they kid with their kid(s) and possibly even before they are bred… inquire within for more information. Show and pet quality animals are available! We are aiming on downsizing the Nigerian herd so we can shift to our new goals with the herd (see below) and also support our grade project since the doe fairy 🧚 really came through for me this year (thanks girl).
✨ A HUGE thank you to our friends at Casa Ram for letting us borrow Legend this year. We saw a need for a buck here after the loss of Tarkin a month ago, and Tyler offered to help us fill the gap until we purchase a new buck this spring. We can’t wait to see the value he adds to our program. We are grateful for Tyler for trusting us with this handsome buck for the season! 🙏🏼
🔮 Looking ahead is always important in any good breeding program. I have evaluated my goals and more importantly, what I WANT to do and what brings ME joy in the goat journey. I will be milking several does through after this upcoming kidding season and breeding a limited number moving forward. We want to still breed show quality animals, but really shift our gears towards milk production. Our demand for soap is so high, and we find ourselves enjoying milk products more than showing as the years go on. With that being said, this may be your last chance until 2029 to get kids from certain does. If you see something you want, please PM us and we will show you our preliminary list of does who will be milking through until Fall of 2028.
