Good day in the bee yard adding honey supers and checking for swarm cells. The colonies are looking strong, and some are already filling boxes fast. Blackberry and tulip poplar are just starting to come in, and the honey I tasted today was soooo good. The start of the spring flow is always an exciting time.

Thank you all so much for your orders and continued support! We’re excited to share that our queens have successfully mated and the nucs are growing strong and healthy.

Be on the lookout for an email next week with full details on pickups that are scheduled for April 24–26. We’re also nearing a sellout for those dates, with only a few nucleus colonies still available. If you’ve been thinking about ordering, now’s the time!

We are at the start of the spring honey flow. About half our colonies were given a honey super this week and the rest will get one within the next 2 weeks. Things are about to get fun.
