We’re raffling off a half hog! Winner fills their freezer just in time for grilling season.

Here's 🖐🏻 facts you may not know about the Duroc hog breed:

🔸 Although this little babe is the color of Carhartt Brown, Durocs can range from a very light golden, almost yellow color, to a very dark red color that approaches mahogany
🔸 This swine breed actually originated right here in the United States 🇺🇸
🔸 In 1823, the first red boar was named after a trotting stallion whose name was "Duroc" 🐎
🔸 They are the second most recorded breed of swine in the United States and a major breed in many other countries, especially as a terminal sire or in hybrids
🔸 The weight of a mature Duroc boar is about 882 lbs
