This post is about the future of the farm, so please read if you want to know what's going on.

We will be transitioning to a fruit farm going forward. Right now, our focus is too scattered. It's hard to get everything done when dad and I have to split our time between a bunch of different crops that all need attention at the same times. Because of this, we are growing thistles more than anything else right now. Haha

The goal is to have certain times of the year when various crops require lots of attention, but we can focus on those crops during that time rather than having to worry about that and this other thing and this other thing and so on and so on.

As of right now, this means attendance at the market will be pretty spotty, but it will mean that we can focus on a more sustainable business model and we can finally beat back these thistles.

Hello people! Just a quick update:

For the foreseeable future, we will operate as more of a seasonal farm. I need to work other jobs in the off-season (for someone at the Danville Farmers Market, this means September to May) to help pay bills and such. So, with that said, we won't be at the Hendricks County Winter Farmers Market anymore. Please still go support the other great vendors! See y'all on the Danville square in May!

Thanks for everybody who came out to Hendricks County Winter Farmers Market Wednesday! It's always nice seeing you all (especially if I can vent about how the Pacers are playing haha).

If anybody wants microgreens for Christmas-time, let me know. I'm going to start a batch here soon. Whatever you all don't want, I will try to sell to restaurants, but I want to make sure my regulars are taken care of first.
