Unfortunate news on sugar cookies: when I went to make icing I discovered that my meringue powder was spoiled, so no DIY kits or boxes this weekend. This heat wave is trying to bring me down this week. Fall bazaar in the morning and hopefully cooler temperatures soon!

I hope everyone has enjoyed the cookies this summer! With the Fall Bazaar next Saturday I've decided to discontinue summer flavors and bring in fall flavors. If you were able to snag a Key Lime Pie or Smores cookie yesterday then you got the last ones of the season. The smores may see a brief return around Halloween, so fret not if it was a favorite. Time to prepare for pumpkin, apple, and maple cookies! Tis the season! 🍏🍪

Happy Friday everyone! Hope everyone had a great day and is ready for Saturday morning sweet treats! I'll be at the Farmers market with jumbo cookies and some DIY sugar cookies. No fruit baskets this week, I remembered around lunchtime today that I was supposed to make them and well, I didn't. 🫣 Whoops.

It's been a long week, and an even longer night is ahead of me because I'm still baking. I will be at the Danville Farmers Market tomorrow morning from 7:30 until 12pm, unless you amazing people buy me out before then. I will only have jumbo cookies, and a few paint your own options.

IMPORTANT UPDATE!

A lot of you have reached out to me about custom cookie orders, and I am incredibly grateful. However, the next two months for me are insanely busy and I cannot take on anymore than I've already booked. So if you have something for October or after, we can talk. But August and September are a NO GO!

Thank you all for the recommendations and referrals. I appreciate all of you, but I am only one person and can only handle so much. And I don't want to burn myself out, I enjoy decorating cookies and I'd like to keep it that way. 🍪❤️

Wood's Bakery will not be at the market this weekend. Unfortunately, we picked up a bug on our travels. So, we're staying in bed and out of the kitchen. I'll be back next weekend, in good health and with even better cookies. 🍪❤️
