My small is selling plant starts! These are mostly organic, heirloom seeds and are varieties that we love to grow here on the farm.

$3/plant, $5/6 cell (flowers, herbs and onions)

NOW is the time to be thinking about planting garlic for a bountiful harvest next summer.

The difference between culinary garlic and seed garlic is simply size. Seed garlic is kept in the ground longer to produce larger bulbs, as larger cloves produce larger bulbs for next harvest.

This year my small backyard farm is offering 2 types of hardneck seed garlic

🧄 Music
-1/2 lb $15 (approx 2-3 bulbs, 12-18 cloves)
- 1 lb $25 (approx 5-6 bulbs, 30-36 cloves)

Music garlic is best known for its large cloves and mild garlic flavor, often called a “garlic lovers” garlic

🧄 German red
-1/2 lb $20 (approx 5-6 bulb, 36-42 cloves)

German Red is a medium sized bulb featuring beautiful pink and purple stripes. The flavor is described as hot and spicy, making it perfect roasted or sautéed

This garlic was grown right here in Southern Nh, which means it is completely acclimated to the climate resulting in more vigorous growth and better yields.

This year my small planted over 10 different varieties of tomatoes and they are just starting to ripen 🥳🎉🍾

Seen here are:
🍅 Apricot Zebra
🍅 Prairie Fire
🍅 Black Cherry
🍅 Black Strawberry
🍅 Black Beauty

So far, the tastiest one has been the black strawberry (the one with the little star on it ⭐️).

Just finished harvesting over 600 🧄🧄🧄

This year my small grew 3 varieties as seen in the 2nd picture
🧄 Music 🎶
🧄 German Red 🌹
🧄 Purple Glazer 😈

Garlic can be eaten straight out of the ground, but most of these will be headed straight to metal racks in my garage to dry and prepare for long term storage. A process commonly referred to as “curing”. That sounds like a job for FUTURE ME! 😆😵‍💫🙋🏻‍♀️

My ducks and geese are raising 15 ducklings together! They took turns sitting on the nest for over a month and now are happily raising their family!

It’s giving “spectacular, give me 14 of ‘em right now” 😆

These are fawn and white runner ducks. There’s also 2 Cayuga/runner duck mixes that still haven’t made an appearance on the pasture yet 🐣🦆🐤

This 300 gallon stock tank used to be my chicken brooder. Now it’s a small pond for my ducks and geese 🪿🦆

I spent all day in 90° sweltering heat putting it together and so far after 12 hours just one duck has gone in as evidenced by the last photo 🙄

Flock of 8 colorful egg laying hens for sale. These girls are only 14 months old and must go as a group. They will give you the most beautiful basket of eggs!
