It is a family run operation and we strive to provide the best beef products around. We have experience in raising great quality beef that has been passed down from generation to generation.

We are set up at the Danville Farmers Market today! Come see me and get stocked up on beef! We have lots to choose from today! It’s gorgeous out today too! Be sure to be thinking ahead for all your Labor Day needs! We will be here but for those going out of town treat yourself with some RK Cattle Beef! Here until noon!

*allergy season is in full force so don’t mind me and my need for more caffeine!

While I’m holding down the fort at the state fair with our show cattle and helping friends fit cattle for show. Rich is holding down the fort at the farmers market this morning! Be sure to go see him and get some good beef! We are stocked up and ready!

🐄🎪 Fair week prep is officially underway around here!!

This year Weston is showing 3 heifers and a steer, and we could not be more proud of how hard he’s worked getting them ready! 💪 We move them in tomorrow morning, so today is all about last minute grooming, washing, and getting everything loaded up!

BUT before all that… you can find us at the Danville Farmers Market TODAY from 8-12 at Courthouse Square! 🧡 Come say hi, cheer Weston on for fair week, and stock up on all the beef you need! Steaks, ground beef, roasts, we’ve got you covered 🥩

🌾 All hands on deck over here this week, y’all! Hay season doesn’t wait on anybody, and this week it took the whole crew to get it done.

Big moment on the farm: Weston learned how to mow hay for the first time! 🚜 Watching him take on more responsibility out here means everything to us. And I hopped back in the baler for the first time in a while myself, it felt so good to be out in the field again. 😅🌻

This is what farm life looks like, everybody pitching in wherever they’re needed, kids included. It’s how this farm has run for over 100 years and it’s how we’re raising the next generation to run it too.

Okay yes we spread p**p on purpose 💩🚜 Manure isn’t waste around here, it’s liquid gold for our pastures and crops! Morning cattle checks with some extra eyes on the cows today!

A mature and juvenile bald eagle sitting in the tree top right above the cows! We see them often out here. It’s still pretty special to see them and their young ones too!

Also the cows love thier summer cool down area! Peep the cow cooling off already!

Back at the market for the first time in a week and wow, did we miss this! 🌾🐄 The weather could not be more perfect right now, cool and gorgeous, an absolute perfect week for grilling and it’s looking like the perfect weekend for it too. 🔥🥩
