💥📣📣 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT 📣📣💥

We are ecstatic to announce our judge this year for the Bourbon Trail Jackpot Swine Show is Ryan Rash!

Ryan Rash is from Crockett, Texas and grew up
showing every species of livestock. During his junior show career he exhibited 13 Grand or Reserve Grand Champion Steers at major livestock shows all over the United States.

Rash graduated from Texas A&M University and was a member of the National Champion Intercollegiate Livestock Judging Team. During his collegiate judging career he was in the top 10 individuals and in the top 10 of Oral reasons at every contest he entered and was the high point individual at 5 contests.
He is a co-star of the Beyond The Ring Podcast and he owns and operates SBCC, a cattle company and consulting firm.

He and his family have a club calf operation as well as a purebred Charolais and Hereford operation. He has judged every species of livestock at shows from the local to major show level throughout the US in 49 states, Canada and Mexico.

Today let’s celebrate all of the women that are teaching and caring for our showmen in and out of the ring.

Those that are taking the pictures, coaching from the sideline, fixing the snacks, and mixing the rations. The women standing in shavings, covered in dust, holding the bucket of Sullivan supplies, and still finding the energy to encourage all the kids in the ring. The ones running the check in table, double checking everyone is in the makeup ring before the gate nod, and the ones behind the mic making sure every kid gets the feedback to grow.

Thank you ladies for nurturing the next generation, making kids think it’s the pig when it’s really them that we are growing. 💕🐖

⚡Introducing our judge, Andy Rash⚡

Mr. Rash is from Nicholasville, Kentucky and is the US Monogastric Director at Alltech. He has an associate's degree from Blackhawk College, a bachelor's from Western Illinois University, and a master's from University of Illinois.

"I have been in the livestock industry my entire life and my passion for livestock showing and evaluation was established through FFA, 4H and by local leaders in the ag community. My children grew up showing and we raised showpigs for many years. This was the foundation for where we are as a family and where my kids are in the life journey."
