THANK YOU! What a glorious market day we had Saturday. We received a special treat when 2 balloons flew over the market as it was opening. It was a good opening for a good day. We had 30 vendors and almost 400 customers come through the market. The weather was close to perfect market weather and the market vibe was a positive one. THANKS to all who attended and we hope you will continue to attend the last 4 markets of the season. The weather has not been good to the market this summer and we hope that fall ushers in a more positive weather pattern-we can hope. We really appreciate your support and hope to see you every Saturday. Thanks again.

We have LOTS OF VEGETABLES this Saturday at the market and hope you will come grab some for the freezer or canner. Tomatoes of every size and shape and sweet corn! Still lots of cucumbers and squash too. Peppers are starting to show up in many different varieties and you can find eggplants, cucamelons, ground cherries, garlic, onions and so much more. Get there early for best choices. The market is open from 8-12 this Saturday, the 29th at 2721 N. Vermilion-the DIY Storage Units (the old Kmart). Lots of free parking, places to rest, 30+ vendors to shop and just a great time to drop by and grab some seasonal eats, treats and crafts from local people. Gotta love this graphic-vegetables, bread and crochet items all in one graphic! Keep your dollars local and stop by the market! Happy NATIONAL DOG DAY! Did you know the Danville Farmers Market is a Pet-Friendly market? Each week we get several critters that attend our market. The joke is when counting customers-do we count all the dogs? YES, we have several vendors who have part or all of their business directed to pets and their owners-who have the cash of course. Friendly and owner controlled dogs or cats are welcome ON LEASH or in a carrier. We also respectfully request that you clean up any potty materials they leave behind at the market. Bring your fur friends with you to the market and give them a new walking route! WE WILL SEE YOU AT THE MARKET! Every Saturday until October 3 from 8 to noon at 2721 N. Vermilion, Danville, IL.
