Happy Friday ! After this rainy week, we have a huge crop of dandelions coming up. My little helper is picking the flowers with the help of a prancing pup, and I'm removing calyxes so we can make some tea. Afterward, we will be saving the taste of sunshine for the lucky folks who end up buying our dandelion jelly. I'm almost more excited for winter knowing we are saving up this hint of spring for when we really need it. 🌼

Can you guess what else we will be making with all this amazing sunshine in a bottle? 😉 🤫

Our new puppy Missy is settling in great with our muddy boots. 😂 Tap that like button to say hello!

Who else is loving all the baby animal energy this spring? We are down to eleven chicks who are getting plenty of socialization, and we are all hard at work at the permaculture garden.

We can't wait to see folks at the Farmer's markets in Danville! We plan to get on the schedule for several dates in July and August. 💕 Thanks for your support!

We are so excited for the Danville VT Farmers Market starting back up this summer under new management! Wednesday evenings on the green are about to be a celebration for the whole community.

Once vendor applications open, we are hoping to be on the list for at least half the season. Offerings will include seasonal berries, potted herbs and handmade Ayurvedic teas.

In any case, we'll look forward to seeing you all every week starting June 10 from 3:30 P.M. - 7 P.M. with our whole crew of kids. 🥰

Things are looking awfully merry and bright lately. ☃️🎄

We still have plenty of trees and want to make sure everyone can celebrate the way they like!

We are extending our Friends & Family discount to everyone this week - this means it is only $50 for a lovely cut-your-own tree, any height.

We also have two precut trees available at the Hill St gazebo for anyone who might be struggling to afford a live tree this year - first come, first serve.

Hope to see you on the lot this week! We will be here selling trees til Dec. 23, then the homestead will rest til the new year.

Tree lighting at the Danville Gazebo tonight at 5 P.M.! Thanks to the Danville VT Chamber of Commerce for supporting our small business and choosing a Busy B tree. ☺️

After the lighting, take a Holiday Stroll around Danville - featuring Santa at the Pope library, carolers on the green, and s'mores at the Hill Street gazebo! We have a couple pre-cut trees on Hill Street for $55 - a Special Stroll price. See you there!

Happy Overstuffed Day! We are ready to ring in the holiday cheer here at the homestead, and we are so excited to share it with you!

Our whimsical holiday trees are a mix of blue spruce, balsam, and fraser first, and today's snow flurries have them looking quite picturesque.

We are open for cutting today through December 22. Come on by anytime to select yours. Open dawn til dusk. Once you have what you're looking for, come up to the house at the top of the driveway. We accept cash, Cashapp, or credit card (digital & card payment subject to a fee).

We do not wrap trees, but are happy to provide rope to help tie it to your vehicle if you aren't bringing a truck.

Give us a call at 802.227.3089 to reserve an appointment time and I will personally help you select, cut and carry the tree to your vehicle. Trees are $60, any height, with plenty of 8-12 ft options, making these trees the best deal around.
