"Meat" Chef Luke. Luke has been with the Sorg family for 23 years. He works in our retail area assisting customers and is the very talented creative mastermind behind many of the products available here at Sorgs. Luke’s creations, to name just a few, include ready to eat pot pies (chicken & rice, beef vegetable, and turkey vegetable) a large assortment of ready to bake fruit pies, ready to eat jambalaya and chili, pizzas, sandwich spread, and he is the genius behind the very popular weekend grill ready special flavored burgers. He also recently started creating “ready for your oven” meals such as a Bourbon-Pepper Beef Roast, Boneless Pork Sirloin Roast, Applewood-Bourbon Boneless Pork Chops, and Applewood-Bourbon Turkey Breast Tenders. In this photo, Luke is making his famous Gorgonzola Butter that has a huge kick of flavor and is an excellent complement to a steak hot off the grill. He also has a side business of his original BBQ sauces (PaPa Woody’s BBQ Sauce, Big Pickle Sauce, and Colonel Peaches’ Mustard BBQ Sauce). "Meat" Jennie! Jennie has been with the Sorg family for 25 years. Jennie first started working in the retail area helping customers in any way needed. She is also very involved in scheduling harvest appointments and taking custom processing orders. She is key in our scheduling area and keeps things running smoothly year round. Sorgs also works with numerous fairs throughout the summer and Jennie organizes all of the scheduling with members of the fair committees as well. Three years ago, Jennie transitioned into the processing area where she is now wrapping, labeling, and keeping all of our paper work and records for each order organized. Jennie is involved in the entire process from start to finish from calling the farmer to confirm appointments, helping take cutting instructions to wrapping and keeping records. Jennie has been married for 25 years and has 3 children. In her spare time, Jennie loves to make jams and jellies. Jennie also has a farm where her family raises cattle, goats and have most recently added a new puppy to the household. Thank you Jennie for all your hard work and for keeping us here at Sorgs organized!

Meat" Tina Schuenke , the youngest daughter of Andy and Barb Sorg. Tina started helping with the family business at the age of 15 working part time after school. She has worked wherever she was needed including the harvest floor, helping her older brother make sausage and her dad cut house beef, while also working customer service answering phones and at the retail counter. In 1998, Tina joined the family full time and In 2018 she began managing the bookkeeping and banking as well. Tina has been married to Justin for 27 years and together they are raising two incredible children. During her free time she loves to watch her children participate in sports and school activities and with her husband has started her own business called “Grit and Great Lakes.” Thank you Aunt Tina for all your hard work and dedication!

"Meat" Steve Sorg, son of the late Johnny and Shirley Sorg. Steve joined the family business at the age of 16 working part time after school hours. During his senior year, he started to spend more time at Sorgs while also working at Pizza Hut and for an accounting firm. After high school, he attended UW Platteville studying business management and then joined the family full time assembling sausage from 1990 to 2022. During 2022 he joined the retail team where he helps with packaging, retrieving customer orders and cutting when needed. Steve has also had the opportunity to work on all floors at Sorgs when needed. In his free time he loves to cook and bake for his loved ones. Steve is married to Jill and they have two children. He is also the proud grandparent of a grandaughter with another grandchild on the way very soon. Thank you Steve for all your time and dedication to Sorgs!
