The majestic White Leghorn. 🐓
Wild. Agile. Unpredictable… allegedly.

Ours apparently didn’t get the memo.

Morning feeding at 17 Acres.

Our birds spend their days ranging, scratching and doing what chickens do. Henhouse Reserve has become part of the routine around here, and judging by the way they come running, they definitely approve. 😂

Raised with purpose.

🐓 Meet the Resident Flock at 17 Acres.

If you’ve bought eggs from us, you’ve already experienced what these girls produce. These are some of the hens behind our farm-fresh eggs, spending their days out on the farm scratching, foraging and free-ranging.

And every now and then, we put a few of their eggs in the incubator. 🐣 Since our resident hens and roosters range together, we call those offspring our Resident-Flock Crosses.

From the eggs we sell to the next generation we hatch and raise it’s all happening right here at 17 Acres.
