Now is your chance! We are seeking nominations for the American Aberdeen Board of Directors.

To be eligible to run for or serve on AAA’s Board of Directors, a candidate must:

1. Be an individual;

2. Be an Active Member of AAA

3. Be at least 21 years of age

4. Have registered or transferred at least five animals with their herd prefix within the last calendar year

5. Be nominated by another Active Member

6. An active member may nominate no more than two candidates for AAA Board of Directors per year

7. Sign a Conflict of Interest Form (Appendix 1)

8. Sign a Code of Conduct Form (Appendix 2)

9. Nominations must be submitted to the Nomination Committee via email to the following email address: [email protected]

We’re excited to officially introduce the Indiana Dairy Beef Association (IDBA)! Here’s what’s coming for 2026 ⏬

IDBA is Indiana’s nonprofit association for dairy beef. Built to serve families, youth, breeders, and producers who believe in dairy beef’s vital role to Indiana’s economy and commodity markets, and its proven impact as a show project.

👉 Our Mission
Strengthening Indiana’s dairy beef community by advancing ‘The Dairy Beef Advantage’ through advocacy, education, working relationships with state organizations and associations, responsible stewardship, and support for youth and producers in achieving excellence.

🔥 What’s Coming in 2026
• Launch the 2026 Indiana Junior Dairy Beef Circuit.
• Release research-based dairy beef breed phenotype standards. Coming soon!
• Plan statewide member education.
• Build strong relationships with state and community legislators and other Indiana ag associations (including Indiana Beef and Indiana Dairy).
• And many more exciting opportunities in the future. 😉

🏆 Circuit News
• IDBA will now be the host organization for the Indiana Junior Dairy Beef Circuit (formerly the Indiana Dairy Beef Show Circuit).
• Updated 2026 circuit rules and key changes will be posted when membership opens in April.
• We are reaching out to show leaders now to sanction their shows to support our youth and families this show season.

• Breed Standards will be released prior to the circuit season.
• We’ll share details soon on how to become a member, support, and get involved.
