We’re excited to be part of this year’s WLBA Beef Show Camp!
At Wildcat Cattle Company, we’re passionate about helping beef exhibitors of all experience levels grow and improve—both in daily care and in the show ring. This camp will focus on practical, hands-on learning including nutrition, fitting, clipping, grooming, and showmanship.
Participants will also have the opportunity to bring their own animals and get real practice in a supportive environment.
We’re looking forward to working with everyone and sharing what we’ve learned along the way!

Our WLBA Beef Show Camp leaders are Dr. BJ Jones and Lauren Jones from Darlington, Wisconsin!
This duo brings a shared passion for the cattle industry, combining decades of experience with hands-on, day-to-day management.
Dr. Jones is a large animal veterinarian at Center Hill Vet Clinic and owner of Wildcat Cattle Company, a purebred Hereford operation focusing on breeding elite show heifers. BJ brings over 40 years of experience in cattle nutrition, fitting, clipping, and overall herd development.
Lauren serves as the herdsman for Wildcat Cattle Company, overseeing all daily animal care and management. She also brings extensive showmanship experience, highlighted by being named Wisconsin State Fair Supreme Showman and earning Top 10 honors at Hereford Junior Nationals seven times—including all four years as a senior.
Together, they are committed to helping the next generation of cattlemen and cattlewomen grow through practical, real-world experience—from herd health and daily management to preparing cattle for the show ring. As a father-daughter team, they’re excited to share their knowledge, perspective, and work ethic that has shaped their program.
