Murmur Farm
Murmur Farm was founded by Audrey Murray and her late husband, E. Allen Murray Jr. in 1954 as a Thoroughbred nursery and breeding farm. The original farm was located on on James Run Road in Churchville, MD. In 1988, the operation was moved to the current farm on 131 breathtaking acres in Darlington, MD. We currently have four sires standing at stud: Blofeld, Hangover Kid, Petionville, and Scipion.

Do you recognize this filly? This is Miss J McKay, a 2-year-old daughter of freshman sire Hangover Kid (Murmur Farm), at last year's Fasig-Tipton Midlantic Eastern Fall Yearling sale and the focus of our Maryland Million Watch Spotlight for this week!
Bred by Linda Rohleder, Miss J McKay was purchased for $55,000 by Maxis Stable as a yearling. The Cathal Lynch trainee made her career debut this July, breaking her maiden at Laurel Park and becoming Hangover Kid's first starter/winner.
