We welcome you to our annual online sale, and are happy to have you view this offering of Darlington âDowns genetics. We are extremely pleased with our offering and believe this sale offers opportunities for all Southdown breeders and show families. All of the ewes are all nominated for the ASBA Futurity Program. If you are not sure what that is, please visit the ASBA website or reach out to us, we will be happy to help you.
In terms of DNA testing, all ewes are listed as QR+ and clean. We do not individually test all ewe lambs, but we have only used RR clean rams for the past several years. With that being said, we list QR+, but expect most if not all would test RR.

The whole offering on this sale is out of Darlington Downs âDrift Awayâ. We need to get this guy pictured and officially introduced, but he has quietly made a huge impact on our flock. He is sired by our Beckmier âUncle Crackerâ buck that we lost after one season. He was as closely related to âCousin Eddyâ as he could be without being a twin brother. The first group of yearlings we grew out are pretty sweet. These will grow and have good frame size but they still have the right wedge shape and we love the hips and hindlegs stamped into them.
