My organic spices are ready to harvest. This is a box of oregano I picked today. If anyone is interested in buying fresh organic spices. Let me know. Text me. I can cut it fresh for this next week and then it will need to be hung and dried. You can freeze it fresh like this or hang and have dried. I also have , spearmint, mint, thyme, onion flower chives and garlic chives.
I believe I have at least 100 boxes like this, of oregano. Or I can do all seven spices, very large bundles, tied up with a hanging string around the bundles, of all the different spices. Let me know. It’s $50.00 for this large share pictured.

Mark your calendar for April 4, Friday, as our native tree give-away. We'll have 450 bare-root trees to give out. Each household can take up to 10 trees. Check back here next week. I'll post complete details then -- sometimes the date has to change due to weather.

As usual, the trees will be available in two locations: Seneca State Park (near the park office) and at 14909 Spring Meadows Drive, Darnestown. Exact time will be posted next week but likely the afternoon from ~3:30 pm to 7 pm (or until trees are gone, whichever comes first).

These are meant to be planted in our watershed area (either Muddy Branch or Seneca Creek) so please -- don't drive from far away, like Annapolis or something. There are likely better sources close to where you live.

Best sugar baby of the season. Best cantaloupe too. Both said from eastern shore so I bet they are from ma and pa’s on the 404. Just guessing. But locally I picked up at Lewis orchard. They are def. Not organic and are very expensive. But…sometimes you just have to cave in and get a sugar baby.

New Orleans last meal, thank you American Airlines for sending the text of the flight delay. Right as I was leaving for airport. Get another great meal. cracklings, gumbo, arugula, great place cochon in the warehouse district where I stayed near.
