Time to brag about this guy. Calm since the day he was born — he'd trot right over for pets while out on pasture with his mama.

His dam comes from the reputable Bieber Red Angus Ranch in Leola, SD, and his sire from the prestigious Pieper Red Angus Ranch in Hay Springs, NE. His pedigree is as impressive as his temperament.

He's the kind of bull that will treat your cows well all summer long — and when he comes in for winter, you'll catch yourself shaking your head when you look out the window and see the kids or grandkids try to climb on his back. He even picks up his feet for you, so if you're a smaller operation, no chute needed. 😄 His calves will likely inherit that same calm disposition, and calm cattle gain better.

Oh, and he's gorgeous to look at too.

Our bulls' semen scores are back — and they averaged 91%. Not too shabby!

However, Lot 3 (4E Just Right 07N) decided to be an overachiever and scored a 98%!
Apparently when we said "everything about him screams bull" — we weren't wrong. 😄

All bulls passed their semen and health exam today! Three are already sold, but there are many incredibly nice ones still left for you to add to your herd, including lot 2 and 3!

When I'm looking to buy a bull, scrotal development is one of the first things I check. Even in yearling bulls, I like to see a little swing to the family jewels. They don't have to swing like a mature bull, but I also don't want excess fat there. The bull pictured below is a good example — at only 13 months old, you can clearly see a well-defined testicular shape and a scrotal sac that doesn't thicken at the top.

What's the first thing you look at when you're buying a yearling bull?

My husband's favorite cow, it's easy to see why. 🥰 hard to see in the picture, but even her waddle has a thick, muscular brisket. She's such a pretty girl and a real sweetheart.
