I am busting, Thursday, April 9, was the 2026 National Pie Championships. We had 4 categories to enter pies in, Open Fruit, Open Cream, Savory, and a special category sponsored by the makers of Karo Syrup. In their category we needed to incorporate a 1/2 of Karo corn syrup is our recipe. I ma so proud to have brought home three ribbons out of the 12 available for us to win. A Third Place for Peach pie, Second Place for Cherry pie and I am still over the moon, First Place for my White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake pie for the Karo Syrup category.
