We are thrilled that this kid, Peyton Robinson, got to use Miss Scarlett for his Senior Grand Entry run at the Washington State High School Rodeo State Finals.

Scarlett is such a phenomenal mule and Peyton knew early on he wanted one of the mules for his senior grand entry. This is EK'S 7 SHOT SCARLET, born 12 years ago on this day which is Eddie's and my anniversary. Her momma was an AQHA mare that I got from my Dad, who’s bloodlines go back to my mom and dad’s breeding program and she is by our Coffee Hollow Espresso jack. She is a special girl. I'm thrilled Peyton got to enjoy her and that he loves these mules as much as he does!!

Nothing better than a good mule!

These two 3 yr olds sure are growing up nicely!! I am so excited that they will be headed to Idaho soon so spend some time with Josh.

Whoopsie’s brand sure is pretty too and Goose is just a handsome young man all together!!

Each signature makes a difference, and a petition signed by tens of thousands will gain us a great deal of support where it matters most.

In May of 2024, USDA posted this new rule for comment. Over 8,000 comments were received, but upon review of the comments, we found that 7,000 were from one form letter. Although we requested that comments be made, the response from our side was extremely disappointing.

However, our current petition already has nearly twice the number of comments as the USDA received during the comment period for the revised HPA. There is no reason that we shouldn’t have double or triple the number of comments by the time we go to D.C.

Now, the revised HPA that was released for comment in May has unilaterally and illegally been changed by Dr. Aaron Rhyner. The version set to be implemented is NOT the version for which comments were accepted.

This kind of underhanded and nefarious action cannot be tolerated, much less allowed to destroy our horse show and sale communities.

We haven’t publicly made the acknowledgment yet…but, with great love comes great loss. While we were away at Nationals in Wyoming this summer, we unfortunately lost our wonderful Jack, Coffee Hollow Espresso. It was hard being away from the ranch and not being able to say goodbye. We are so blessed with such great people in our lives and we are forever grateful to our Hailey and to our friend, Tucker, for stepping up and having to take care of all this. Thank you, both! Dee raised SO many quality mules over the years. Bred to both outside mares and hand picked quality ranch mares. He was always great to be around and always passed along those great characteristics into his foals. We worked so hard over the years to get our breeding program to where it was and we are forever thankful to all our clients over the years, many who have become great friends. So, in short, thank you for 17 years of business with our Coffee Hollow Espresso Jack!! He will be missed!! May his legacy live on through all those great mules out there!! 🩷🩷
