As some of you know, we at Tolstoy Farms are enduring the loss of our beloved friend, Tim. We are in planning a memorial service to honor his life on August 3rd and we would be honored to have you join us.

As a community and a cooperative farm, we have made the very difficult decision to close the business of “Tolstoy Farms”. We appreciate your understanding in this period of change and we are so touched by the many years of support that the Spokane and Davenport communities have shown us for nearly 30 years.

Please keep showing your local farmers all the love and support that you’ve shared with us, and please join us in celebrating the incredible human that was our friend, brother, husband and neighbor, Timothy Pellow.

Usually I make salsa with our tomatoes, but today I made some with peaches. All produce shown is Certified Organic goodness available at the Spokane Farmers' Market.
1) corn and Cliffside peaches
2) Roasting peppers, onions, and garlic on a comal. I used poblano, jalapeño, and Aji Cristal peppers. I roasted the peaches and corn in my toaster oven.
3) the roasted products. I blended all together except the corn, which I cut off and added to the blended mixture.
4) the finished salsa.
