In remembrance of those who served and sacrificed, we honor Memorial Day with gratitude and respect.

We invite you to spend some quality time with your loved ones this weekend at the farm. We will also be open on Monday. We are keeping a close eye on the forecast - indoor reservations are still available.

Dodon ‘til Dusk: This Friday! A relaxed yet refined evening at the vineyard, featuring seasonal cuisine freshly prepared on-site by our friends from .table and enjoyed alongside Dodon wines. Held every other Friday from 4:00–8:00 PM at the pavilion and hillside, each evening offers a new menu and a chance for wine club members to gather, linger, and savor the beauty of the season as the sun sets over the vineyard.

Please pre-order your meal at the link below by Wednesday. Once you arrive on-site, the team from April’s Table will prepare your meal, so you have time to find a table and settle in. You can order Dodon wines or non-alcoholic beverages on site.

An Earth Day message from Tom:

“Yesterday’s East Coast freeze didn’t just shock the vines; it stunned an entire community of plants, insects, vertebrates, and microbes. Today, on Earth Day, the members of this ecosystem will respond vigorously, collectively answering chemical distress signals from their neighbors to address the cleanup and regrowth ahead. Microbes that colonize wood, leaves, and fruit will contribute to pest resistance and flavor. Mycorrhizae will grow into the roots to feed the vine. Detritivores will decompose dead plant material, releasing nutrients for new life. We may not be able to see this microscopic world with the naked eye, but it’s there. The vines are not alone.”

This new bud emerging from an area of frost damage gives us renewed hope on this earth Day and Tom’s message reminds us that we are but a small part of an enormous ecosystem, for which we are so grateful.

Last night we had a historically devastating frost, post bud break. The results aren’t clear yet, but it’s likely that we lost 60% or more of our total wine production for the 2026 vintage. As you can imagine, we are heartbroken.

But this is farming in our modern era. We see both predictable, troubling weather trends and unpredictable surprises. And we adjust, dig deep and continue to farm in service of nature and our community. In the case of growing wine, moments like this makes the successful vintages and resulting wines that much more special.

Our hearts go out to our colleagues and all farmers around the region who were impacted. Let us remember how fragile our food system is, and continue to support our local growers so that we can become resilient enough to withstand these major weather events.
