⚠️ SCAM AWARENESS NOTICE ⚠️

Unfortunately, there has been an increase in online scams targeting vendors and event attendees. To help protect our community, we want to make it abundantly clear that Walnut Hill Farm is the only organizer and coordinator of all events and markets held on our property.

We do not use third-party event coordinators, vendor booking agencies, or outside individuals to recruit vendors, collect payments, or manage our events. All event communications, vendor approvals, registrations, and payments are handled directly through Walnut Hill Farm.

Please do not respond to comments, posts, messages, or friend requests from individuals claiming to represent our events unless the communication comes directly from Walnut Hill Farm’s official page or our official website.

If you are ever unsure whether a message is legitimate, please contact us directly before sending money or providing personal information.

We care deeply about our vendors and guests and want everyone to have a safe and positive experience. Thank you for helping us spread the word and stay vigilant!

Go get some goodies! Furlodough was at our May market and you all sold her out and LOVED her products! Give her a follow to see her weekly menu! 🍞🥖🧈

Doing new things is scary. Putting your self out there is scary. But we go for it anyway.

Today is Furlodough's first community stand.5321 Sweetwater, West River.

This is an idea years in the making. First it was a few loaves for family and friends. Then weekend pre-orders. Then a weekend market. Today, it is a little stand under a tree in my front yard.

I'm not sure where this journey will lead, but I have learned that sometimes you don't need to have everything figured out before you start. You just need to be willing to take the next step.

🍅 We’re trying something a little different on the farm this summer!

For years, we’ve grown our tomatoes using the Florida weave method, but this season we decided to switch things up and trellis our indeterminate varieties instead. We’re excited to see how it impacts plant health, airflow, harvesting, and overall production throughout the season.

Now we’re curious…

What’s your preferred method for growing tomatoes?

🌱 Tomato cages
🌱 Trellising
🌱 Florida weave
🌱 Other (tell us in the comments!)

Whether you’re growing a few plants in the backyard or managing rows of tomatoes in a garden, we’d love to hear what works best for you and why. Share your tips, successes, and even your tomato-growing challenges below!👇🍅

We’ll report back later this summer and let you know how the trellising experiment works out here at Walnut Hill Farm.

One project at a time, Walnut Hill Farm continues to grow. 🌿

We’re excited to share our new driveway entrance landscape berm and farm property sign! This project has been months in the making (our sign has been waiting to be hung for 6 months 🫣) and is another step in our vision of creating a beautiful, welcoming entrance to the farm.

From planting and landscaping to building and improving, every project represents our commitment to preserving and enhancing this special place for our family, our guests, and our community.

We can’t wait to watch everything fill in, bloom, and come to life throughout the season. Welcome to Walnut Hill Farm. 🌿🖤🤍
