Blessings to you all on this beautiful Sunday morning!
On Sunday, we try to share a scripture to bring Glory to God, and share the wonderful words of wisdom that God has graciously given us. We hope it provides light and guidance for all of us throughout this upcoming week.
1 Thessalonians 5:11 reminds us, that as Children of God, we are called to encourage each other! We are called to lift others up when someone is down and out. We are called to be a light to those who are experiencing darkness.
The world today doesn’t always abide in this. It seems like so many want to tear others down, or mock those who are struggling or discourage.
While this type of behavior becomes more common, WE HAVE THE CHOICE TO DO BETTER! We need to remind everyone that they are loved by our Father in Heaven! We need to remind people that Jesus set us ALL free from sin! We need to remind everybody that even though we have struggles, that God is with us through it all! He has planned a perfect Eternity for everyone who will just believe in Him, and trust in His Word.
This world needs light! Jesus is the light of the world, and He calls us to be a light to others.
Let’s be purposeful this week. Let’s look for an opportunity to encourage someone! Let’s walk away from conversations with negative gossip and mockery. Let’s find an opportunity to tell someone that we love them, and more importantly, Jesus loves them! We can all help change lives and make the world a better place, just by a few kind words and actions. Let’s not miss that opportunity. 😊
