Durante mi visita al Pop-Up Market de **Nova Southeastern University**, descubrí el **Churro Latte de La Cima Specialty Coffee**… y definitivamente tenía que contarles sobre él. 🤎

Cremoso, refrescante, dulce sin ser empalagoso y con ese toque de café perfectamente balanceado. En pocas palabras: **sí, me tomaría otro.** 😋☕

✨ RECORDANDO ANDO… y esta vez el recuerdo viene con azúcar incluida. 🍰😋

En abril de 2024 tuve la oportunidad de asistir a Dulce Conexión, un evento de Boni Bakery en Doral que reunió a un grupo de mujeres latinas para hablar de emprendimiento, compartir experiencias, hacer nuevas conexiones y, por supuesto… ¡comer algo rico! 😏

Porque networking está muy bien, pero networking con postre está mucho mejor. 😂

Aquella tarde conocimos un poco más sobre la historia de Boni, desde sus comienzos en Venezuela hasta emprender en Estados Unidos. También nos tocó poner manos a la obra decorando nuestra propia pavlova. 👩‍🍳🍓

Pero lo más bonito de hacer este es ver todo lo que puede cambiar con el tiempo.

🚚 En aquel entonces, Boni Bakery había comenzado su historia con un food truck.

🏠 Hoy, me alegra muchísimo ver cuánto ha crecido y que ya cuenta con su propia tienda física.

A veces uno asiste a un evento sin darse cuenta de que está presenciando un pedacito de una historia que todavía se está escribiendo. 💛 Y esta fue, definitivamente, una Dulce Conexión.

🚨 **NEW ON THE FOODIE FUN FAIR BLOG!** 🍴🦈

Wait… Nova Southeastern University has a recurring pop-up market?! 👀

Yep. I just learned about it—and naturally, I had to go check it out! 😂

I spent about an hour exploring the market at NSU in Davie, checking out the food vendors, local businesses and a few jewelry vendors along the way.

So… was this hidden foodie find worth the visit? 😋

A summer throwback with a Venezuelan twist! 🇺🇸🇻🇪☀️

For our 4th of July celebration, we paired American classics with rich Venezuelan flavor. We enjoyed hot dogs topped Venezuelan-style with crunchy potato sticks and sauces, a special pasta salad made using my mom’s recipe, and a delicious homemade apple pie. 🌭🥧🥗

More than the food, the best part was bringing different traditions together around one table with family.
