We lost our loving dad and Papou this morning, and while we’re heartbroken, we’re also so grateful for these years we got to watch him shower his love on our children. He had the warmest hands; he played the liveliest boogie woogie piano; he appreciated film and music and art more than anyone I know; he was generous with praise and affection; he loved root b**r floats and could devour an entire bag of Halloween candy in one sitting; he lit up or teared up every time he saw his grandchildren; he was a sensitive empath; he loved travel and tripping around cities; he was a total ham; he loved Greece and Spain; he was insanely good at trivia and incredibly smart; he loved us kids and Mikes and grandkids more than anything. I will miss so many things about him. Rest in peace, Dad. I hope you are flying high. I love you always.
