Crooked Barn Homestead

Crooked Barn Homestead “Small Acreage, Big Purpose” As our flock and love for farm life grew, so did our garden. Every jar holds the taste of care, laughter, and sunshine.

About Crooked Barn Homestead
“Small Acreage, Big Purpose.”

Crooked Barn Homestead began with just six spirited chickens and a dream of living a little closer to the land. Not long after, two goats joined the family, bringing with them endless entertainment—and the spark that would grow into something more. We expanded our plots to grow fresh vegetables not only for our table, but to share with ot

hers. A year after welcoming our first goats, we added two more ADGA-registered Nigerian Dwarf goats to our herd for milking. With their rich, creamy milk, we make homemade yogurt, cheese, and drink it fresh. We believe in giving back, so any extra eggs and veggies from our little patch of land are donated to those in need. Whether it’s through nourishment or neighborliness, our mission stays the same: build something meaningful, no matter the size. Today, Crooked Barn Homestead is still growing—literally. We’re expanding into our wooded areas to cultivate mushrooms and transforming all remaining green space into an edible food forest. From garden beds to goat sheds, every inch of land here has a purpose and a plan rooted in sustainability and community.
