Absolutely gorgeous weather to be harvesting and shipping sod! We are loving it! 💪🏼

We harvest sod until the ground freezes- typically around Thanksgiving, but our season can extend into December in mild years. Fall is a busy time for sod projects though, so we recommend scheduling your delivery 7-10 days ahead.

Excellent fall weather to install sod! This time of year it will take root in about ten days and since it is a fully mature plant it is hardy whenever you lay it.

We love the nice fall weather we had in September, but sometimes you need a rainy day to catch up on equipment maintenance!

This week we have harvested six different types of grass, small roll, big roll, delivery trucks, pick up orders, sent sod out of state, and still had to keep up with mowing fields and working ground for seeding. It’s nonstop around here this time of year.

Natural grass has a cooling effect, making it safer and more comfortable to play on!

Players' cleats were melting and Eagles coach Nick Sirianni needed an IV due to extreme heat conditions during Sunday's game between Philadelphia and the Tennessee Titans.

"That turf was just radiating," Eagles offensive lineman Cam Jurgens said, noting postgame that his feet were "burning, still hurting."

Good morning! Fall is an excellent time to install sod. Cool season grass naturally starts to send more reserves to its roots as it prepares for winter, which results in strong roots during transplant. Plus you still have lots of time if you haven’t started your project yet- we harvest until the ground freezes, typically around late November or early December.
