Even with help keeping up, we have a serious egg surplus and we’d love to get them into your hands instead of letting any go to waste!

Congratulations and well deserved!

If you know Bill Hunt he lives and breathes everything agriculture.
It is his passion. When he is not in the field he is reading the DTN machine or a farm article in his various farm publications, (he even reads the WSJ... 🤦‍♀️) checking markets, meeting with suppliers gearing up for the next season, and you will definitely see him with a broom, mop or squigy. (Iykyk) 🤣
And with all of that he finds time to sit on various boards for the county and township because he strives to make a difference for the good of agriculture, the community and for the next generation. Tonight he received a Community Service Award from Gleaner Life Insurance and Representative Dave Martin.

We are very proud of him and all he has accomplished. It means so much that someone else noticed his efforts too.

With the warmer weather, our hens have resumed laying eggs fairly regularly. Fresh eggs are currently available and can be purchased through our self-serve model. Payment options include cash, Venmo, PayPal, and Zelle, with a price of $4.00 per dozen. Our hens' feed is sourced from a local farm.

🌾 Hay for Sale at Garty Farms!🌾

We had a 🔥🔥 weekend of “Hay Days” here at Garty Farms, and we're thrilled to be able to offer 500+ square bales of premium quality hay! Our hay is loved by goats and horses alike, featuring a mix of Alfalfa, Timothy, Orchard, and other Hay Grass Mix.

This is the “First Cutting” of our replanted field from SPRING 2024, and we made sure to bale it with the help of our awesome kiddos and Blake! The bales are tight, dry, and haven’t seen any rain.

🟢 Price: $6.00 per bale

🚜 This is our Garty Farm Oasis from the Summer of 2022! 🐓🌽❤️

Days like today make it exciting to get back at it and continue making home improvements both inside and out. In 2020, I began giving these videos to my Husband as a gift to be able to show him how much our hard work has paid off because yes, it is a lot of hard work and videos like these give us an opportunity to see how far we’ve come (2023 Video to come later this year)!

Last year we partnered up with Steady Eddie’s Veggies At the Flint Farmer’s Market and began providing them with our vegetables. This year we’ve already created an entire new garden space that is double in size and we can’t wait to be able to provide more vegetables and hopefully some flowers this year! Also, our first cutting of hay yielded over 500 bales of hay…we love our little Farm! 🚜🌽🍅🥒🐣🐓🚜
