Hi friends. Itās been a while and for that I am so incredibly sorry. I have some bad news to announceš
For those who have followed our journey thus far know that I moved. The reason I had to move was unfortunately due to mine and my families safety was at risk. We had a very unfortunate event take place that caused us to have to pack up and move for our safety.
Because of that sudden move I had to down size my flock. We settled in fall of 2024. I had high hopes for 2025 that after settling down Iād be able to continue my breeding program, work on perfecting my buff pen, continue producing beautifully colored satin frizzles and continue showing.
We hosted a very successful poultry event last summer with amazing breeders from around the state, held a showmanship clinic for the show kids, had food and treats. It all came together beautifully. I was so proud of the turn out! It made me very hopeful that despite a bump in the road I was going to continue my business and go on to showing much more.
Sadly life just hasnāt worked in my favor since last fall. I have not hatched any thing since late last summer and for that I have made the difficult decision to pause my business. I really hope to be back soon, but for right now this is see you later.
My heart is shattered, Iām fighting back the tears as I type this.š
