They say there's only one kind of math... but anyone who homesteads knows better.
There's Chicken Math (I only wanted 4, now I have 37 and a rooster named Carl).
There's Cattle Panel Math (you always need one more... and somehow they don’t fit in the truck like they did last time because you bought 12).
There’s Raised Bed Math (you build one and suddenly need twelve more and a second mortgage).
There's Seed Packet Math — because who doesn’t need 7 kinds of radishes and a variety of tomatoes that only grows in one village in Bulgaria?
But don't forget... Canning Jar Math — “I’ll just can a few quarts,” turns into “Why do I have 173 jars and still no idea where my 1/2 pints went??”
It’s not a problem. It’s just... Agricultural Arithmetic. Got any to add?
