We're a little farm and homestead working towards breeding for poultry and waterfowl.

We're only just starting out, but we have 60+ chickens, 5 turkeys, 13 ducks, and 4 geese on our beautiful 2 acre farm.

Look how a mama hen shows her babies to eat. She makes sounds almost like a rooster tidbitting, and drops some food after crunching it up a little. Isn't that so precious!

Born in the middle of a thunderstorm ⛈️ went to check on Lavender and she already has two babies 🥹 it's always just so amazing to me, putting these eggs in the right conditions and they make sweet little babies 🥹✨ they're so cute and tiny, I will never get over how precious moments old chicks are ❤️

I have a hen sitting on 7 or 8 eggs and I'm like "dang, I have an itch to incubate some eggs" 🤔 like I really need that 🫠 it's just such a fun process!

I think I have a twin egg y'all! I'm pretty nervous, I haven't ever had a double yolk egg from my hens but I sell WAY more eggs than I eat, so I'm not sure. But if you watch, it seems like two distinct bodies moving away from each other, almost looks as if one mass kicked its feet at the other. Has anyone else had a twin egg and documented it?? I'll have to keep up with this one, it's only a week away from hatch day!

Proud to say that we made our first sale ever! This handsome little cream legbar rooster is going to his forever home Tuesday, he'll have cream legbar pullet friends for him to grow up with and have a beautiful flock! I'm so excited for him, and I'm proud too, this is a big step in the direction I want my farm to go, and it feels awesome!

Billy and Canyon had their first bath, and they did great for being blow dried too. It's funny, with my older two, Lemongrab and Lemonhope, only one of them liked to zip through the water as well and the other didn't much care for the bath 😅 geese are such interesting little things 🥹
