In an effort to best serve our customers, in October 2020, Clucks and Bucks Outfitters, LLC was formed to operate the retail side of Gage's Poultry Plus. Both will still continue to provide the same great service, just as separate entities.

Gage's Poultry Plus will operate strictly as a gamebird hatchery and producer and a authorized tester for the Illinois Department of Agriculture - National Poultry Improvement Plan.

Clucks and Bucks Outfitters, is a licensed FFL Dealer, retail sporting goods store, outdoor shooting range, and firearm training academy. Offering IL Concealed Carry Classes and other firearm classes. The retail store has all your favorites, such as Traeger Grills, Black Rifle Coffee, Special S**t Seasonings, Ruffland Kennels and many more are still available, just under a new name. Many new companies have been added as well!
Clucks and Bucks Outfitters will be selling IDNR hunting and fishing license.

Still have time to get on the schedule for our custom release programs! August is prime time to release any birds into the wild to help repopulate or any other release other. These birds were banded and released last week. The owner is hearing them call and seeing them!

The first step is establishing the right habitat, that is the key to success!!! We will come out evaluate your area you want to release birds and create your customized release program. Any birds released are banded and numbered to see progress over the years. We can not guarantee 100% success rate. This program is to release birds for hunting and dog training purposes at this time.

Our pheasants are moved to a smaller fly pen then into a catch pen to be caught and put in crates and delivered to our customers. This help to reduce stress, less handling on the birds, and keep those birds looking great!

If you would like to place a contract or have interest please message us or call the office.

Please note that placing a contract guarantees you will have birds. Any orders placed without a contract, we can not be guarantee birds for you. As we do sell out quickly, a contract may be a good option for any customers ordering large quantities or multiple times.
