Coturnix Quail breeding sets! 5 hens 1 roo per set.
We are located in Dawsonville, Georgia. Will consider delivery to nearby areas. First-come first-served, they go fast!
First generation descendants from Myshire Farm and JMF/Southwest Gamebirds stock. All of our birds are feather sexable. We do have ONE set of non-feather-sexable birds available, some really cute spotted white and tuxedos in the mix, suggested for eggs only or experienced breeders. S*x is guaranteed, we won't leave you stuck with a batch of boys!
Youngsters are fully feathered, off heat, and ready for your outdoor enclosure. Hens will be starting to lay eggs at any time. You'll be able to get healthy hatching eggs when they're eight weeks old, they'll be fully grown by ten weeks, they could be parents at eleven weeks, and you could have their first hatch on your dinner table when the parents are only nineteen weeks old - your chickens won't even be laying eggs, yet!
We also have many sets that have already started laying.
Our Colors this hatch are a mix of Pharaoh, Falb Fee, Pearl, Egyptian, and Italian. They're on the larger side of Standard size, most are nearing or reaching Jumbo weight (10oz). They are ideal for a pretty egg-laying flock, each hen laying 5-6 eggs per week, and still a good source of meat.
Our Jumbos include the Wilds with the beautiful brown Pharaoh pattern, and the Jumbo Egyptians are the redheads with the same pattern. They are over 10oz at maturity, and are a better choice for primarily meat birds while still getting plenty of eggs. They lay slightly larger eggs than the Standards, but lay slightly less often, averaging 4-5 eggs per week.
