Good Evening,
We have 3 pigs headed to market on August 20th. Whole and half shares available at this time.
You will pay us $4 per pound on the hanging weight. The last haul averaged 200lbs each.
The butcher fee (North Georgia Meats) is completely separate from our fee and you will pay them directly upon pick up. You can expect to pay them a $75 kill fee (or half that if you do a half share), and $1.35 per lb processing fee (smoked meat is $2.25 per lb).
We require a $100 deposit to hold the pig for you until processing and that will be deducted from the total owed to us once the pig is processed.
If I'm honest, I'm a steak girl myself. But, we had bone in chops last night from this same group of pigs and I felt like I was eating a delicious steak. I seriously can't stop thinking about it! The texture and flavor are both top notch.
