This is what small batch canning looks like for me. Sometimes it's only 1 or 2 jars Sometimes more. But I try not to waste anything so the peels got dehydrated in my oven and turned into powder. What I cut out of the tomatoes goes into compost.

Washing 3 dozen eggs to be smoked today. If you have never smoked your eggs instead of boiling them, you are missing out on some AMAZING flavors and the best damn eggs ever🤤🤤🤤

There is definitely something healing about making your food from scratch. Especially when most of the ingredients have been grown by you. In the process of making roasted tomato sauce to can and use later for anything that needs tomato sauce 😋
