The white face you know so well has been around a long time. 🤘

The Hereford breed started back in 1742 in Herefordshire, England, from a bull calf out of a cow named Silver, and two cows named Pidgeon and Mottle. Bred by farmers who needed cattle that could turn grass into beef and do it without complaint. Hardy, easy-keeping, built to last.

They crossed the Atlantic in 1817 and headed west, where they earned their keep the hard way. On rough country and rougher weather, the Hereford didn't just survive, it made everything around it better. Cattlemen couldn't get enough of them.

That's the breed we were raised on, and it's the one on our patch. Four generations in, the Hereford still stands for exactly what it always has: grit, dependability, and showing up every single day. That's why we love 'em. Always have.
